Sitara ARM® Cortex™A8 and ARM9 MicroprocessorsThese high performance, ARM-based microprocessors are based on ARM® Cortex™-A8 and ARM9™ architectures. The Sitara portfolio includes unique combinations of peripherals and accelerators to lower overall system cost and expand connectivity options.The newest Sitara AM35x application processors (OMAP35x) are based on the ARM® Cortex™-A8 core, which delivers more than four times the processing power of 300MHz ARM9 devices. Popular part numbers include AM3715, AM3703 and AM3517. Check out the Beagleboard with the OMAP3530.
