IrDA Components

IrPro is an IrDA compliant primary and secondary protocol stack supporting 9.6 Kbps to IrDA maximum bandwidths. The protocols enable wireless point to point infrared communications for embedded devices.  Supported protocols include Framer, IrLAP, IrLMP, IAS, TinyTP, OBEX, IrCOMM, IrNET,and IrMC.

IrPro Plus IrSimple supports the popular IrSimple protocol technology and enables standard multimedia transfers between printers, cameras, display devices to complete within 1 second at 4Mb. Uni-directional and Bi-directional modes are supported for primary and/or secondary stacks.

IrPro-OBEX supports industry standard OBEX protocols that are used by IrDA and Bluetooth protocol stacks.  The OBEX protocol engine was designed to be easily ported and adapted to any 3rd party protocol stack.

The IrTester test harness is provided with each SDK license and is used to validate protocol integration and development.

Each SDK includes protocol source code, API documentation, sample applications, and detailed integration procedures.
