Quadros Systems to Sell and Support ARM's Keil MDK Development Tools
Distribution agreement packages integrated RTXC™ RTOS and software with this high quality tool suite from ARM
Houston, TX – June 1, 2009 — In another industry first, Quadros Systems has been selected by ARM, Ltd. as a value-added reseller (VAR) of Keil’s MDK-ARM development tools for Europe and the Americas. Quadros Systems is a leading provider of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and communications software for embedded systems. Under the terms of the agreement, Quadros Systems will actively market the Keil embedded development tools as part of an integrated development solution including the company’s RTXC RTOS, TCP/IP, USB, file systems, tools and other embedded software.
Last year, Quadros Systems was the first RTOS supplier to offer a kernel awareness plug-in for the Keil MDK-ARM. Today, the companies further their relationship with this VAR announcement. This brings together two product families that are synonymous with quality and performance: Keil and RTXC. Each boasts a legacy characterized by a commitment to excellence.
“In addition to the quality of their products, Quadros offers a high level of technical expertise and ARM product knowledge,” said Mark Onions, director of marketing, System Design Division, ARM Ltd. “This combination is particularly beneficial to developers with complex software requirements and those integrating a number of software components. The Quadros team excels at providing the combination of software and support that these customers need.”
Stephen Martin, VP of sales and marketing at Quadros Systems describes the relationship this way: “Today’s embedded systems are more complex than ever before. By integrating the Keil development tools with our RTXC family of development and runtime software, we greatly simplify the process of bringing embedded products to market. Developers now have a single point of contact for high quality tools and foundational software.”
